Chasing Leaping Stripers: An Exhilarating Excursion at Lake Pleasant
It was a great day out on the water with Matt at Lake Pleasant Regional Park in Peoria, Maricopa County. February is a fantastic time to be fishing here, as the clear conditions and active fish make for some excellent angling opportunities. We met up at the Scorpion Bay Grill and got geared up for an afternoon of exploring the lake.
Once we hit the water, it didn't take long before the Striped bass started hitting. The light breeze made for a comfortable day on the lake, and between the steady bites, we were able to take in the scenic views. Matt was a natural out there, setting the hook hard and handling those hard-fighting Striped bass with ease.
By the time we wrapped up, we had put a solid box of fish in the boat it was a super productive and fun day on the water. That's the great thing about these Lake Pleasant fishing trips - even if the bite isn't red hot, you're still getting to enjoy the outdoors, relax, and hopefully hook into some quality fish. Plus, with an experienced guide like myself, you're always in good hands.
